Serving Beltrami, Cass, Clearwater, Hubbard, and Lake of the Woods Counties, you will find them all rich with access to public lands and trails for hunting, skiing, walking,biking, bird watching, four wheeling, and snowmobiling.

Our area has thousands of lakes and rivers, including the mighty Mississippi River, of which about 400 of them are within 25 miles of Bemidji for swimming, fishing, boating, and camping.

Numerous Parks including Lake Bemidji State Park, Big Bog, and Itasca State Park where the Mighty Mississippi River begins.

Bemidji is home to three secondary schools, Bemidji State University, Northwest Technical College, and the Oak Hills Christian College.

Each community has a local medical clinic with Bemidji serving as the regional center for medical care with the Sanford Health and Sanford Medical Clinic.

Two main highways intersect in Bemidji, U.S. Hwy #2, and State Hwy 371. We also have one of the busiest regional airports in Minnesota.

The winters may be long but the summers make us stay, and we certainly have no shortage of activities throughout our community, no matter what time of the year such as golfing, birding, Skate Park, disc golf, bicycling and more area activities within 35 miles of Bemidji, BRRRmidji Plunge, Lake Bemidji Pond Hockey ,we are the home of the Minnesota Finlandia Ski Marathon, the Dragon Boat Festival, Night we Light, and Logging Days, just to name a few. We also have a local theater, the Paul Bunyan Playhouse, the Watermark Arts Center, the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, Gallery North, the Wild Rose Theatre, enjoy the Bemidji Art Walk of sculptures and murals throughout downtown Bemidji, and you can even enjoy folk music performances in the local coffee shops and restaurants.

As you can see, Bemidji is a diverse community. It is a wonderful place to live, to raise a family, and to retire. It is a place that all of us like to call our home. We hope you can too.
